SAVE-THE-DATE…MARK YOUR CALENDARS….CANCEL ANY OTHER PLANS……

The 2019 HOPE for a Cure Cancer Shootout is in the books!! We are officially planning our 11th annual event at Recreation Atlanta on Saturday, October 19th!

Did you notice the name change?

For the last 10 years, we have been named HOPE for a Cure Breast Cancer Shootout. Our funds have helped SO many who have been diagnosed with this terrible disease. However, we have SO many who are affected by ‘cancer’ of many types. This can’t be ignored. Therefore, in our 11th year, we are stepping up and celebrating our fighters of ‘cancer,’ helping those who need us, donating for further research of this terrible disease, and standing in honor of those who we’ve lost!!

We get to do all of this while playing the sport we love!!

Many of you have taken part by playing, volunteering, and/or donating; I hope this year will not be different. We need all hands on deck to continue to make a difference.

See you on the courts!!

Charlie Pratt is the current US Junior Team Head Coach, made it to the finals in singles at the World Championships this year, and one of only a handful of active players with a tier 1 IRT title to his name! He is an advocate of the sport, strategic minded, professional, and a good guy to be around.

2018 Hope For A Cure – First Info

Racquetballers and Friends,

Our 10th annual HOPE for a Cure event is on the books!! We are hosting our event at Recreation Atlanta on October 20th this year! I am hopeful that each of you will come out and join the fun!

This event serves a helping hand to so many who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and need a helping hand with his/her financial obligations. Additionally, we send funds to local and national foundations who provide education, further assistance to those in need and research to find a cure. Could you ask for anything better?

Because of the HOPE’s growing popularity, we continue to come to the table with more ways to share the LOVE! Our racquetball community has come in strong each and every year, and this one won’t be different.

Saying this, we couldn’t host this event without donations. They can come in the form of products (bottles of water, snacks, catered food, etc.), raffle items and/or monetary contributions.

Please read the attached donation letter, and please consider being a vital contributor this year’s event!! You can also assist by sharing it with your friends, company, business partners, church members, or anyone else you come across. There is simply no donation that is too small.
