Thanks to all who joined us for our first “mini-tourney” event – Men’s Elite Singles!
Congrats to Justin Cobkit our first ever champ, and to Russell Scott for making it a close final match.
Thanks to all who played – Corey W, Mark M, Marco G, Walter Sowa, Wes W, Andrew S, John Crowe, Kanesha Madison, Janice K, Scott D, Joseph Y – and to folks who showed up in support of the event.
Our goal is to develop a new format for competitive tournament play where we can condense the time commitment to ~4 hours, utilize facilities across the entire metro Atlanta area and beyond, and minimize the cost for participants.
By doing so we hope to re-energize the racquetball community and increase the number of people playing tournament racquetball.
We are planning several more of these events in the near future as we fine tune the format.
